  • What is the heat retention capacity of a Granistyl?
Granistyl products have excellent heat retention capacity, which is even better than that of cast iron. This property allows food to be cooked evenly and efficiently, while retaining heat for a longer period of time, which is particularly useful for dishes that require constant heat during cooking. Granistyl's heat retention ability is therefore a significant advantage for both professional and amateur cooks looking to achieve optimum cooking results.
  • How heavy is it compared to the best brand of cast iron?
Granistyl products are about 20% lighter than cast iron, they are 3 times thicker and allow better heat retention and better cooking.

Thanks to its durability, Granistyl kitchen utensils can be used for a variety of tasks, including cutting and chopping food, without the risk of scratching or damaging the surface.
  • Will the granite crack?
Yes, granite will crack, as natural stone has some capacity for thermal expansion. It is a sign of the authenticity of the stone, guaranteeing its quality and durability. The heat causes contraction and expansion movements which, over time, lead to cracks or cracks on the surface of Granistyl. However, it should be noted that these cracks do not affect the performance of the cooktop and do not pose any danger to the user. In fact, these cracks are considered a sign of regular use of the Granistyl cooktop, and in no way compromise its quality or durability. Granistyl is considered a new range of cookware in its own right.
  • Cracks in the granite, is it serious? Is it natural?
The formation of cracks in granite is not a serious problem in itself. In fact, it is a natural process that can occur when the stone is first heated. These cracks allow the granite to fit snugly within the aluminum sheath, which is an advantage for the performance of the cooking surface. On the other hand, if the granite does not show any cracks, this may indicate that the stone is not natural granite. In any case, the cracks in the granite have no impact on the quality of the cooking surface, nor on its use.
